A spectacular, slightly cloudy winter evening served as the backdrop for the Valentine´s Day celebration at the internationally distinguished restaurant, Pithahayas.
This ocean-front renowned establishment is located at the Sheraton Hacienda del Mar Resort in Cabo del Sol, just ten or fifteen minutes east from Cabo San Lucas, Los Cabos Tourist Corridor. This special occasion was celebrated by an exceptional four-course meal created at the Five Star Diamond kitchen, where the famous Chef Volker Romeike is in charge, along with Executive Sour Chef Mauro Paulo. All dishes produced were a perfect example of the culinary experience and ability of the expert hands that created them.
The creative Sommelier Yuniva Pérez walked around the tables, preparing unique dinks for each palate, achieving to enhance the extraordinary moments lived by those who were present. Yunuen Gómez and Erika Coatzin, from the corporate’s Brands, Marketing and Digital department, expressed the way this celebration that took place on February 14th, known as Valentine’s Day by Americans and Canadians, was specially planned for guests and local clients by the culinary hands of Volker Romeike. In order to accompany and delight other senses as well, a singer was present to perform. The evening turn out just as expected. A collection of satisfying smiles and multiple ecstatic moods crowned the night. To end the evening, I went down to La Cava de Santiago, a wine cellar that I had visited many years ago. It still maintains the same mystical atmosphere. It’s a wonderful place that can be booked for special occasions such as this one, or for any other particular celebration that you wish to cherish.
