| Volker Romeike has turned the Pitahayas Restaurant to one of the best in the region. Born in Duisburg, Germany, arrived to Los Cabos in 1995 with a big career that started as a little boy, helping in the family kitchen that took him to places like México and the United States, among them were Guadalajara, Puerto Vallarta, California, Puerto Rico and Hawai, where he learned and perfected the Pacific Rim culinary style.
His professional career started as a kitchen helper in the Landhaus Spickermann and has turned in awards like the International Prize as one of the best chefs in the world, from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences. He also is member of the Chain de Rotisseur since 1999, Club Vatel México since 2000 and the French Culinary Academy since 2001.
